Leaping Lulu announces their latest album release, Into The West. A long labor love, Into The West represents over a year's worth of work for us. We had originally planned to call the album Storm, after one of our original tracks. We began working on it during the unusually wet and rainy summer of 2009. Nearly every gig we played was either rained on or rained out. In one place, the thunder drowned us out and the lightening became a safety hazard, so we had to pack up and leave. Our fans were stalwart---many times sitting in the downpour to hear us gurgle out a tune! Then, in April of 2010 as we were nearing the completion of our recording, Liz Fallis's husband Todd asked Cache Valley artist Jerry Fuhriman to make a painting for her birthday. The moment we saw it we all knew immediately it had to be our album cover. Suddenly, our title did not fit with our cover art---it wasn't a Storm at all---so we reverted to our working title for the album (which was taken from our track 2 cover), Into The West. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have! You can purchase copies of the album from CDBABY, and it will be available from iTunes and Amazon in a few weeks.
